A prior company that Dr. Askew was a partner in (LabServe) and now Askew Scientific developed the ATP, managed the study and submitted all reports to the EPA for the approved ATP for the company, In-Situ Inc. Askew Scientific is working with an engineering firm, Veenstra and Kimm Inc. http://www.veenstrakimm.com/ , to develop and implement sampling plans for Iowa municipalities with Combined Sewer Overflows. Data generated from these sampling studies will be used to mitigate the impact of the CSO on the receiving watershed. Major watersheds in these studies include the Des Moines and Mississippi Rivers.

Data generated from these sampling studies will be used to mitigate the impact of the NPDES permit limits on the POTW infrastructure. Askew Scientific is working with local municipalities to review 3rd party commercial laboratory data where violations are reported on sludge compliance under 40 CFR 503 regulations. Data and methods are reviewed. Reports are generated for the municipality and the regulatory agency outlining scientific concerns with the present compliance data generated from the 3rd party laboratory and corrective actions are provided.
